A Waterloo woman has been arrested after an altercation at a mental health organization in Fayette on Saturday. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was called to Inspiring Lives around 9:15 p.m. on a report of an assault. When deputies arrived on scene the suspect, 30 year old Monica Davis, took off running. She was apprehended and an altercation allegedly took place in which Davis is accused of injuring a deputy. Davis has been charged with two counts of Assault, Interference With Official Acts With Intent to Inflict Serious Injury and Assault on a Peace Officer With Intent to Inflict Serious Injury. She was taken to the Fayette County Jail.
