Another Crack Cocaine Sentence

A seventh Waterloo man has been sentenced for his role in a crack cocaine trafficking conspiracy, according to KWWL. 39 year old Corey Jones was sentenced to 71 months in federal prison on Tuesday. He must also serve six years of supervised release following his prison sentence. Jones pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. He had previously been convicted of possession of cocaine base with intent to deliver and a drug tax stamp violation. Keylynn Goldsmith received 60 months, Deon Goldsmith got 46 months, Michel Snow was given 197 months, Melvin Grubbs got 179 months, Ronald Corey received 57 months, and Gregory Washington got 180 months in prison. There is no parole in the federal system.
