The Cedar Falls City Council recently held a special meeting to discuss adding an extra roundabout to the rebuild of Main Street set to begin in the Spring, according to KWWL. The current plan calls for reducing the four lane road to three lanes including a center turn lane and for three roundabouts to be put in at the intersections of Seerley Blvd, 18th St., and 12th St. The possibility of adding another roundabout at Sixth St. has recently come up, however it was determined that they would keep traffic lights at that intersection. The reconstruction project is expected to cost $30 million.
