Anti-Peeping Law

The Iowa House voted unanimously in support Tuesday of new legislation that would amend the language and add penalties to Iowa law concerning “Peeping”.  The new bill updates the statute which makes secretly watching or recording another person in their private space.  Current law states the victim must be nude or partially nude and supporters of the bill say the new amendments will add clarity to the bill and make violators easier to prosecute.  The bill now goes to the Senate.
