An anti-racism silent prayer vigil has been organized by Wartburg coach Marcus Newsom. The event will be held Wednesday night at 6:00 in Waverly’s Kohlmann Park. Newsom will speak and then there will be 8 minutes 46 seconds of silence for prayer. 8 minutes 46 seconds is the amount of time the police officer’s knee was on George Floyd’s neck.
