Cedar Falls police have arrested a man for the January 22 robbery of Kay Jewelers on Viking Road in Cedar Falls. 33 year old Carlos Alejandro Roig Gonzalez of Cedar Falls was arrested for robbery in the first degree.
Investigators issued a search warrant at Gonzalez’s residence and found evidence matching witnesses statements and jewelry from the robbery. He is currently being held in the Black Hawk County jail. If convicted he could face up to 25 years in prison.
