A baby girl from Waverly who was hit in the head by a ball at a softball game is healing and showing progress.
The Facebook Page, “Healing for McKenna,” shared on Sunday that she has been moved to the regular pediatric floor instead of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) she has been in since they got to the hospital.
While in the PICU, McKenna had 1-1 with the nurses. While on the regular pediatric floor, McKenna’s parents will get to work more on taking care of her, to help them get accustomed to what life at home will be like.
