Infant McKenna Hovenga continues to recover in the Mayo Clinic PICU. McKenna was hit by a softball a week ago while breastfeeding at the Waverly softball fields. As of Tuesday night she is still not awake but was attempting to take breathes on her own. She had some sub-clinical seizures but is making progress.
