The Raptor Resource Project announced some potentially disappointing news regarding the Decorah eagles.
A post Thursday on its Facebook page showed there’s still no sign of the eagles’ third and final egg hatching.
The Raptor Resource Project says eagle eggs have hatched as late as 44 days after they were laid, so we could still see it happen within the next two days. But the first two eggs hatched late last month, and the center says eggs have never hatched this far apart before in Decorah.
