A bicyclist in Floyd County was hit by pickup truck Monday morning. Shortly after 11:00 a.m. a 2018 Ford F150 driven by 79 year old Robert Mehmen of Charles City was traveling east near the intersection of 220th Street and Walnut Avenue when he collided with 77 year old Robert Krueger of Charles City, who was on his bicycle. Krueger was flown to the MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City for treatment of serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
