Black Hawk County has fared worse than Bremer County thus far with COVID-19 thanks in part to the higher population. Bremer County has 9 cases and 2 recoveries. Black Hawk County officially had 85 confirmed cases with 19 people recovering from the virus as of Wednesday. Butler County has had just one case, that being Clarksville pastor and former mayor Val Swinton who received a heroes welcome home Wednesday after being released from the hospital. Floyd County is yet to see its first confirmed case. Chickasaw County has had just two people test positive for COVID-19. There is a slight uptick in Fayette County which has seen five confirmed cases with three people recovered from the virus. Buchanan County has had eight confirmed cases with 6 that have recovered.
