Waterloo Police have recovered a body from the Cedar River, according to KWWL. Police were called to the Waterloo Boat House around 7:30 Thursday night on a report of a fisherman falling into the river. They were able to pull the body out of the river but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe the man suffered a medical even prior to falling into the river. No foul play is suspected. The man’s name is not being released at this point so that his family can be notified.
