Botched TV Sale Leads to Prison Time

A Waterloo man is facing federal prison time after he fire a gun during a botched sale of a television, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 22 year old Jordan Booker was selling his TV to another man at Booker’s house. The buyer attempted to use counterfeit money to pay for the TV. When the buyer refused to leave Booker’s home he grabbed what was described as an AK-47 style pistol and fired a warning shot into the floor. Police officers responding to a call of shots fired found marijuana on Booker’s kitchen table and the gun. A few weeks later they would locate a .22 caliber rifle in the home as well. Booker is facing up to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced at a later date.
