Two burglaries in Bremer County were stopped in the process by the Bremer County Sheriff’s Office. The first happened on February 1st at 2298 Viking Avenue in Sumner. Deputies were sent to that location just after 11 in the morning where they found Richard Lusher, of Evansdale, and Jerred Clos, of Waterloo. They were arrested and charged with 3rd degree Burglary. The second burglary happened the next day. At around 8:45 in the morning deputies were sent to 2760 Midway Avenue. After an investigation Dylan Stull, of Waterloo, and Allison McPherson, also of Waterloo, were arrested. Stull was charged with 3rd degree attempted burglary, possession of burglary tools, and carrying weapons. McPherson was charged with 3rd degree burglary and unlawful possession of a prescription drug.
