Three people were injured in a collision in eastern Bremer County on Sunday. The crash happened around 10:00 Sunday morning at the intersection of Viking Avenue and 190th Street southwest of Sumner.16 year old Nathan Dolf of Westgate was driving west when he stopped at a stop sign before continuing into the intersection where he was struck by 63 year old Patrick Hughes of Sumner. Hughes and his wife, 68 year old Cynthia Pierson-Hughes, along with Dolf’s passenger 21 year old Rachel Dolf were all taken to Community Memorial Hospital in Sumner for treatment of their injuries. All three were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
