Two people were injured after a motorcycle accident Saturday night. The Iowa State Patrol says it happened just after 8:00 p.m. in northern Bremer County. Todd Smith of Reinbeck and a passenger, Suzy Thorne of Cedar Falls, were riding a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Highway 63 in the rain. The cycle went off onto the shoulder north of Larrabee Avenue, Smith lost control and the cycle crashed. The State Patrol says Smith and Thorne were thrown from the motorcycle. Neither were wearing helmets and both were taken to Allen Hospital in Waterloo by ambulance. The Bremer County Sheriff’s Office and Tripoli Ambulance assisted at the scene.
