The Bremer County Board of Supervisors has announced the continuation of the Bremer County Opioid Settlement Funds Grant Program. This initiative is designed to support community-based efforts forcused on opioid abatement. The program will provide grants to qualified applicants that address medication-assisted treatment distribution and other opioid-related treatment services, expansion of warm hand-off programs and recovery support services, Naloxone or other FDA-approved overdose reversal medications, or prevention and education programs. Applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on May 29th. There is expected to be $1 million available in Bremer County through 2039. More information can be found at bremercounty.iowa.gov.
