The Bremer County Sheriff’s Office now has more money for new equipment. The Governor’s Traffic Safety Bureau gave the sheriff’s office a grant for the Special Traffic Enforcement Program. This allows the Sheriff’s Office to get new equipment for deputies without having to charge people living in the county. They used it during traffic stops that led to more than 180 traffic citations and several arrests
