The Bremer County Health Department has provided an update on the amount of vaccine they will have available. The department will be allotted 400 doses per week through the month of February. Over 4,000 residents qualify for the vaccine due to being 65 years of age or older. That means the vast majority of the doses, over 85%, will be given to those individuals. Primary care providers will be contacting those individuals about the administration of the vaccine and individuals will not need to contact their provider about being put on a waiting list.
