The water levels have, indeed, dropped enough for the beams to the new bridge across the Cedar River in Waverly to be installed Wednesday. Beginning around 8:00 Wednesday morning trucks will begin delivering the beams, approximately one beam per hour. The trucks will come from the south on 4th Street SW, they then will turn west on Bremer Avenue before backing into the bridge location. This will cause minor traffic delays in the area. Flaggers will direct traffic as the beams are delivered. Beam placement will take place Wednesday, Friday, and next Thursday, September 4th.
