Bantam Bridge, located just a quarter mile from Waverly’s Rail Trail trailhead, will be temporarily closed starting on Thursday, September 11, at 8:00 a.m. for maintenance.
As part of the Waverly-Shell Rock Area United Way Day of Caring, City staff and volunteers will be staining the bridge to give it a fresh update.
The bridge will remain closed until Friday morning while the bridge stain dries. Trail users are asked to respect closure signs and barricades during this time.
