High river levels have slowed progress but workers finally got into the Cedar River to restart work on the Bremer Avenue Bridge on Monday. They are pouring concrete today and Department of Transportation Field Service Coordinator Pete Hjelmstad says a lot will happen in the next 30 day.s
Hjelmstad with a couple months they will begin setting horizontal beams for the bridge. The target completion date is November 28th.
