Plainfield residents located on 1st Street will have their water shut off Monday morning to allow for work on the water main. Sometime after 10:00 a.m. the water will be shut off so that Speicher Excavating can install new water valves. The water will be off for 2-4 hours. The City of Plainfield will update their Facebook page when the work has begun and when it comes to a close. You can also find a graphic indicating what area will be affected on their Facebook page.
