Monday evening, March 24th at 6:45 the Waverly City Council will host a special meeting in the council chambers for the proposed budget statement public hearing. This is the citizens’ opportunity to publicly comment on the upcoming budget.
Following that portion of the study session the director of the Iowa Northland Regional Coucil of Government, or INRCOG, will discuss with the council some opportunities and strategies for the use of the former Washington Irving School property.
The Washington Irving property just south of Bremer Avenue was wiped out by the 2008 flood.
