Bunger Middle School in Waterloo has a new principal. Zach O’Brien will take over the position left by Larry Martin. O’Brien is currently the Assistant Principal at Waterloo West High School. He has been with the district since 2005 and has served as a Special Education Teacher, English Teacher, and Performance Based Diploma Academy Coordinator. He is a graduate of Fort Dodge High School and the University of Northern Iowa. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching with a focus on Secondary English and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.
