An alleged cat burglar has been arrested, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 19 year old Kaiden Reinking, of Hawkeye, allegedly threatened a Cedar Falls man in Snapchat messages that he would steal his cat. Then he allegedly broke into the man’s home at 1:00 a.m. and took the cat. Reinking allegedly told the man he would kill the cat if he went to the police. Reinking has been charged with second degree Burglary and third degree Harassment. He was also charged with Criminal Mischief for allegedly damaging a police holding cell. The cat has been returned to the Cedar Falls man.
