Cedar Falls Police arrested a woman Thursday night at the Extended Stay on University Avenue. 33 year old Amanda Casey was charged with 3rd degree burglary, going armed with intent, and 2nd degree criminal mischief. The original call to police noted that there was a person doing damage to a vehicle in the parking lot of the hotel. When officers arrived on scene they identified Casey as the suspect. Casey allegedly also took items from that same vehicle and had attempted to use a dangerous weapon on another person who had earlier tried to intervene.
