The Butler County Fair in Allison officially begins Wednesday but a couple important events will be held Tuesday. The Pre-Fair Parade will begin Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. to the east of the barns and the Fair Queen Coronation will be held at 7:00 p.m. Other big events at the fair will include the Farmer Tractor Pull and ECI Tractor Pullers Wednesday, Sawyer Brown in concert along with special guest Madd Hoss Jackson on Thursday, the Night of Destruction on Friday, the Iowa Harness Races and Scrambles Night on Saturday, and the Barnyard Battles and Figure 8 Races on Sunday.
