Butler Co Fair Makes Adjustments

Many county fairs throughout the state have been totally cancelled this year due to concerns over the coronavirus, however the Butler County Fair will go on albeit in a limited and safe way. The Queen Contest will take place this Sunday with the crowning on Monday evening. Static projects for 4-H and FFA will be dropped off at the fairgrounds during the day on Monday with a non interview style judging taking place on Tuesday. The Horse, Sheep, and Meat Goat shows will take place on Wednesday. The swine and poultry shows will be on Thursday. The dairy and beef shows will be on Friday. The rabbit show will be on Saturday with the pet show on Sunday. The livestock shows will all be single day events with no livestock overnighting at the fairgrounds. While the shows will not be open to the public, they will be livestreamed at butlercountyfair.org.
