The Butler County Conservation Board has announced that they are going digital. Beaver Meadows, Shell Rock Park, Heery Woods Park, Camp Comfort Recreation Area, and Wunsch Memorial Park will all have a few sites that will be reservable online in advance. These sites will be reservation only and no cash will be accepted for them. Reservations will be available one year in advance. Every other site will remain first come, first served but will have the option to pay online onsite using a QR code. One other change to the Butler County campgrounds is that they will no longer be free on Wednesdays. Butler County Conservation Board campgrounds will be open May 1st through October 15th, weather permitting.
