Police in Waterloo are investigating after a car apparently struck a house and the driver fled the scene early Monday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police say they found a 2013 Kia Optima with significant damage after it took a turn too quickly, struck two parked vehicles, and smashed into a home at the corner of North Barclay and Oneida Streets around 2:30 a.m. Monday. By the time police arrived on scene the driver was nowhere to be found. They contacted the owner of the vehicle but they were allegedly uncooperative. No injuries were reported and, to this point, no arrests have been made.
