Cedar Falls Public Safety was called to a lake in Cedar Falls Thursday morning on a report of a partially submerged car. A citizen called police at around 6:30 to report a car in South Prairie Lake. First responders found the car on the north side of the lake near the boat ramp. The driver was able to get out of the car and was helped ashore. They were the only occupant of the car and were taken to a hospital for an evaluation. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
