The National Cattle Congress in Waterloo may soon get a facelift, according to KWWL. The organization says they would like their space to be more multipurpose and capable of hosting a variety of events. They say they have received inquiries, including from national events, but have had to turn them down because of the facilities. The NCC plans to demo some of the older facilities including the Ag Building and Estel Hall. They also are looking into the construction of a new arena. The cost of the project is unknown at this time but they believe they will be able to fundraise most of the money needed.
