The Top Ten finalists for Iowa’s best burger according to the Iowa Beef Industry Council and the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association has been announced. They are Ankeny Diner of Ankeny, Elm’s Club of Creston, BeerBurger of North Liberty, Saucy Focaccia of Cedar Rapids, BW’s Burgers of West Des Moines, Smokin’ Hereford of Storm Lake, Doc’s Stadium Bar & Grill of Jefferson, The Irish Shanti of Gunder, Down Right Delicious of Clarinda, and Vaughn’s Cafe and Bakery of Clarinda. This year saw a record number of nominations with more than 9200 submitted. The winner will be crowned on May 1.
