A Cedar Falls child molester has died in prison, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 85 year old Elmer Dowler was pronounced dead around 11:15 Friday night at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center. He was serving a 25 year sentence for sexually abusing two children under the age of 12 in 1993 and 2003. He was arrested in April of 2011 and pleaded guilty to the crimes months later.
