Many schools around the area are adjusting their schedules to make up for missed time caused by winter weather. One of the latest to do so is the Cedar Falls Community School District. They have announced that they will add 15 minutes onto the end of the school day. The new schedule will go into effect after the spring break. Beginning Monday, March 25 Cedar Falls High School will release at 3:10, the junior highs will release at 3:15, the elementaries will release at 4 except on Wednesdays when they will be let out at 2:05, and preschool will release at 2:05. The last day of school currently sits at Thursday, June 6.
