The Cedar Falls City Council has voted to put in a roundabout on Greenhill Road near Fareway. The vote was 6-1 during Monday night’s meeting with Councilman and Mayoral Candidate Dave Sires being the lone dissenting vote. The project is expected to cost around $3.3 million, which is expected to be paid for through sales tax, state funds, and other avenues. The council will now receive bids for the project before working on a contract with the low-bid contractor.
