A Cedar Falls woman has been allowed off the Grand Princess cruise ship that has been floating off the coast of California with a number of passengers testing positive for the Coronavirus. LaVina Fuller of Cedar Falls was on the cruise with her sister when the ship full of 3,500 passengers was turned away from port due to the condition of those aboard. Fuller and her sister were able to disembark the ship yesterday according to Fuller’s granddaughter, Ally Latta. Fuller will be taken to Travis Air Force Base for quarantine. She will be tested there for the Coronavirus. If she does not test positive she could be back home in the next couple of weeks.
