Cedar Falls police reported that the Freedom Rock mural was vandalized when someone covered it with graffiti sometime this weekend. Neighbors fear that the numerous veterans who planned to visit the memorial will be upset and disappointed by the graffiti. The words of honor portion of the monument is now barely legible and police are currently searching for the vandals.
