A Cedar Falls man accused of sexually abusing a boy over the course of several years and another boy on one occasion has been found guilty by a judge, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 29 year old Tenko Wilde was found guilty of continuous sexual abuse of a child, four counts of second degree sexual abuse and one count of indecent contact with a child. Wilde, who was formerly known as Roman Bezek, was involved in the furry subculture. He convinced several other furries from other states to come live in mobile homes he owned in Cedar Falls. That is when the abuse began. A three year old boy told a family friend of the abuse but the case was closed when the child could not repeat the story. The three year old told another adult about the abuse in September of 2020. Police went to Wilde’s home as he was recording a video of his last will and testament. Wilde was arrested and waived his right to a jury trial. Both victims testified against Wilde before the judge. The most serious charge against Wilde carries up to 50 years in prison.
