Two people in Cedar Falls have been arrested and charged with Kidnapping. Police were called to the Days Inn around 5:20 Sunday morning after a person entered the business and reported being assaulted. An investigation led to a search of a home at 310 Iowa Street in Cedar Falls. Police believe the victim was held against their will and restrained to a chair inside the home. The victim said they were burned, struck with blunt objects and gagged for a lengthy period of time. They also said the people holding them captive were armed with guns. Those arrested are 46 year old Donovan Danielson and 32 year old Nicole Sage. Both face a mandatory life sentence if they are found guilty.
