A Cedar Falls man has been arrested for allegedly firing a gun at a Waterloo apartment complex on Wednesday, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 21 year old Vontrell Lumpkin is accused of traveling to the 700 block of Russell Road around 9:00 p.m. Wednesday as part of an ongoing disagreement with another person. While there he allegedly fired two shots into the air. Lumpkin is prohibited from handling firearms due to an arrest in a 2018 home robbery in Cedar Falls. He has been charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Reckless Use of a Firearm, and Use of a Weapon in a Crime.
