CF Man Injured in Crash

A Cedar Falls man was injured in a crash in downtown Waterloo Monday afternoon. The Iowa State Patrol says that 62 year old Lori Thomas, of Waterloo, was eastbound on W. 1st Street in a Hyundai Sonata at around 4:45 p.m. when she failed to stop at a red light and collided with a Chevy Tahoe driven by 25 year old Brady Tyler of Cedar Falls. Tyler was not wearing a seatbelt and was injured in the crash. He was taken to Allen Hospital. His condition has not been made public. KWWL is reporting that a Waterloo Police patrol vehicle was also on its top, but it is unclear how that happened and if anyone was inside the vehicle at the time.
