The Cedar Falls Public Safety Department has announced that National Night Out in that community has been cancelled due to COVID-19. The event has traditionally been held the first Tuesday in August. It often features chances for the community and law enforcement to bond with the goal of strengthening the relationship between the two. A new date and location have yet to be selected for the event. Activities have also not yet been announced, but are expected to be announced in the future.
