A Cedar Falls woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing nearly $100,000 left for a church in Belmond and an arts council, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 70 year old Pamela Rogers was named the executor of the estate of Janet Meints in February of 2017. In her will, Meints left a little more than $49,000 to Trinity Lutheran Church in Belmond and the same amount to the Belmond Area Arts Council. However, by August 11th of last year neither organization had received any of the money. Last month, Rogers admitted that she used the money for personal and family expenditures. She has now been charge with first degree Theft.
