A Cedar Falls woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing more than $20,000 from a Vietnam War Veteran from Hudson, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 29 year old Jenna Eschen is accused of moving $10,200 from the victim’s credit union account into her Venmo and PayPal accounts. She also is accused of using his information to open several credit cards. She allegedly put $10,000 worth of charges on those cards as well. The victim’s family members noticed the suspicious activity and alerted authorities. Eschen has been charged with first degree Theft Against an Older Individual and Credit Card Fraud. It is unclear how Eschen knew the victim.
