Next Monday, December 18 during the regular City Council Meeting, the Council will present incumbents Mayor Chuck Infelt, Dan Lampe, Wes Gade, and Dave Reznicek with plaques of appreciation for their service to the community. Also at the meeting, Administrator James Bronner will give Dean Soash the Oath of Office as incoming mayor. Soash is not the only new face coming to the council in 2018. Other new representatives include Brian Birgen for Ward 1, Rodney Drenkow for Ward 3, and Ann Rathe as an At-Large; they had their Oathes of Office on November 20th. Tim Kangas was re-elected to Ward 5. Dan McKenzie of Ward 2, Mike Sherer of Ward 4, and Edith Waldstein, an At-Large, will be up for re-election in 2019. The terms for Mayor Infelt and the other incumbents officially end January 2nd of 2018.
