The Theft charges against a Waterloo City Councilmember have been dropped, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 31 year old Nikole Wilder was charged with misdemeanor Theft in Des Moines in November after allegedly using an app to scan and then delete items while at a Walmart. Earlier this month the Polk County Attorney’s Office moved to dismiss the case with prejudice, meaning it cannot be reinstated. Wilder will have to pay $100 in court costs as part of the agreement.
