Charges Upgraded in Shooting Case

Two Waterloo men have had their charges upgraded to Attempted Murder for a shooting back in December, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 22 year old Dajoniss Morman-Jenkins and 29 year old Marqwane Smith were among several people who pulled up next to Richard Sturdivant sitting in his car shortly before 5pm on December 10th. The group pulled Sturdivant from the vehicle. Once out police believe Morman-Jenkins shot him several times. The others then dug through Sturdivant’s pockets before fleeing. Morman-Jenkins and Smith had been charged with Robbery, Burglary and Willful Injury. 24 year old Karondius Kelly received those same charges, his were not upgraded, however.
