A Charles City couple have been charged with 1st degree robbery and 2nd degree theft, according to KIMT. 28 year old Emmanuel Harris and 32 year old Tressa Lloyd are alleged to have robbed a man on February 27. Harris is accused of holding a barbecue fork near the victim’s neck while Lloyd held a knife to the man’s stomach. The couple then allegedly demanded the victim give them his cash, credit cards, and phone. That phone was later found at the couple’s apartment. Harris and Lloyd are also accused of asking a man to come over to their apartment and then assaulting him and taking his 2008 Ford Expedition. In addition to those incidents Harris has also been charged with 2nd degree robbery for allegedly stealing a man’s cell phone, wallet and other personal items on February 22nd. Those items were also found in the couple’s apartment.
